What will you be doing? · Prospect, solicit and develop accounts and referring organizations within the social market segment, fully utilizing multi-property Delphi, the internet, industry publications, networking opportunities and all other information sources. · Meet or exceed weekly sales goals for telephone solicitation, site inspections, · Provide excellent, consistent, personal service to clients prior, during and with follow-up after each event. · Personally greet on-site contact to assure all needs and last-minute needs are met. · Participate in development of direct mail, client events, email campaigns, package specials and all promotions. · Be current with all market related publications in order to stay on top of all industry trends and uncover any potential leads. · Submit weekly and monthly booking reports on a timely manner. · Maintain all files with current trace dates, accurate histories and all relevant information regarding booking activity. · Promote a high quality company image by demonstrating professionalism to both clients and colleagues. What do you bring to the role? · High school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred. · Previous hotel or Sales experience preferred. · Good oral and written communication skills. · Understanding the pace and expectations of guests in the hotel industry. · Proficient computer and typing skills. · Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and the ability to change assignments often with short notice. · Accuracy with numbers. · May require work during weekends, evenings, and some light travel depending on assigned market segments and networking opportunities.
