What you will have an opportunity to do: Catering Sales Manager drives revenue by soliciting, booking, and planning weddings, corporate meetings, and social events. He/she is responsible for negotiating contracts, creating customized menus, conducting site inspections, and acting as the primary liaison between clients and banquet operations to ensure successful event execution.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience in catering sales, banquet management, or hospitality 2–5 years.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems (Delphi), Microsoft Office Suite, Opera.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and negotiating.

Responsibilities

  • Sales & Revenue Generation: Proactively solicit new business through networking and sales calls, while managing existing accounts to meet or exceed catering revenue goals.
  • Event Planning & Coordination: Meet with clients to detail function requirements, including menu selection, room setups, audio-visual needs, and vendor coordination.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, menu details, and contract terms to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Operational Liaison: Coordinate with the Food & Beverage, banquet, and kitchen teams to ensure accurate execution of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
  • Site Inspections & Marketing: Conduct tours of property facilities for prospective clients and assist with marketing initiatives.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Monitor and report on sales metrics, industry trends, and revenue forecasts.
