About The Position

Wedgewood Weddings is seeking a positive, people-oriented Catering Sales Manager to join their team. This multifaceted role involves planning and coordinating events, driving sales, and creating exceptional experiences for clients. The ideal candidate is highly motivated to meet sales goals and enjoys the process of planning alongside couples. Catering managers are involved from the initial sale through event execution, making enthusiasm for the entire wedding journey essential. Requirements

Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
2+ years of catering sales, event sales, or hospitality experience is preferred.
Outstanding verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills.
Genuine enthusiasm for sales, weddings, and the hospitality industry.
Eager to join a team that’s all about getting things done and working together effectively.
Regular availability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, as well as shifts of more than 8 hours and workweeks of more than 40 hours.

Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth by meeting sales targets, converting leads into happy couples, and utilizing effective upselling strategies.
Build strong connections with couples, guiding them through the sales process with professionalism and care.
Manage weddings and events from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction.
Keep precise records of event details, contracts, and administrative documents using Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Tackle challenges quickly and with a positive attitude to uphold our commitment to excellence.
Inspire and motivate event staff to deliver exceptional service and ensure events run seamlessly.
