This role oversees event logistics, supervises staff, manages costs, and delivers exceptional client service while maintaining high standards of quality, sanitation, and presentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of foodservice experience, including at least 1 year in a management role
  • Required catering experience
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, healthcare, military, or related foodservice environments preferred
  • Knowledge of catering trends, food production, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation standards
  • Strong financial and budgeting skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • ServSafe Certification required

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute all catering events, ensuring proper setup, service, and breakdown
  • Supervise and train catering associates and temporary staff
  • Partner with the Chef to develop and execute event menus
  • Manage event logistics, quality control, and sanitation standards
  • Monitor and control labor and food costs for each event
  • Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact during events
  • Support overall foodservice operations as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
