About The Position

SodexoMagic, a joint venture between NBA Hall of Famer Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Sodexo, is seeking an experienced, highly skilled Catering Manager 2 to lead catering operations for a high-profile corporate client in West Point, PA. This position oversees a dynamic, fast-paced catering program that includes executive meetings, large-scale events, and elevated hospitality experiences. As part of a strategic, nationally visible account, the Catering Manager 2 ensures that every event reflects the client’s brand, SodexoMagic’s standards, and a commitment to exceptional service. This is a hands-on, strategic leadership role for a hospitality professional who thrives in complex environments, leads with confidence, and elevates every detail of the guest experience.

Requirements

  • Ability to identify complex client needs and deliver tailored, high-quality catering solutions that align with corporate culture and global standards.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to develop trust and promote a collaborative partnership with high-profile stakeholders.
  • A hospitality-driven approach with a deep commitment to exceeding expectations through meticulous event execution and service.
  • Proven ability to maintain and elevate service levels, resulting in increased client satisfaction and a Global Strategic Account guest experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and strict adherence to all HACCP and food safety standards during transport and event service.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and responsiveness to real-time client requests in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
  • Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum Management Experience - 1 year

Responsibilities

  • Leads and manages daily catering operations, logistics, and staff, ensuring every delivery and event is executed with seamless precision.
  • Oversees the full catering sales and planning process, partnering closely with high-profile clients to design and execute sophisticated, high-quality events.
  • Ensures the catering team has the necessary tools, resources, and support to consistently meet premium service standards and operational deadlines.
  • Manages labor and food costs to ensure strict alignment with budget requirements, proactively making adjustments to maintain financial efficiency.
  • Supervise and guides the catering staff by delegating tasks and setting priorities to maintain "Gold Standard" operating procedures across all functions.
  • Maintains the high level of flexibility required to support varying event schedules and evolving business needs within a fast-paced corporate environment
