About The Position
Meals Now is a white-glove catering delivery company whose drivers represent the company and its restaurant clients. The Catering Delivery Driver picks up large catering orders from premium restaurant partners and delivers and sets up food at office buildings, hospitals, schools, and event venues. Drivers are expected to follow delivery instructions carefully, arrive punctually, communicate dependably, and represent Meals Now and restaurant partners with professionalism and courtesy. The role focuses exclusively on catering delivery, with no fast food, grocery delivery, or gig stacking. Drivers take clean photos of the setup at drop-off. Compensation is $18–$50+ per delivery, paid the next day via Gigsafe, with additional incentives for on-time streaks, tier level, and photo quality.
Requirements
- Have a reliable car, van, or SUV; bikes are not suitable for most markets.
- Have a catering bag and cart, or be willing to purchase them.
- Have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Have a smartphone with internet/data.
- Be available for weekday morning and lunch shifts; the listed hours are 8:00 AM–11:00 PM EST.
- Maintain a professional appearance; gym clothes, hoodies, and slides are not acceptable.
- Be comfortable with setup and light lifting.
- Be dependable, communicative, and take pride in the work.
