About The Position

Join our team as the Catering & Conference Services Manager for Hotel Jerome, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by implementing daily procedures pertaining to the planning, management, and execution of social and corporate events.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Delphi and Opera
  • Minimum two years experience working in a high volume hospitality environment
  • Experience creating BEOs, planning events, and working in a supervisory role
  • Experience working with clients, vendors, and staff to ensure a seamless experience

Responsibilities

  • Planning food and beverage menus, coordinating setup and service plans for events
  • Work alongside the culinary and banquet team to develop catering proposals
  • Assist catering team in the execution of BEO directives
  • Maintain regular daily contact with the banquet team related to timing and general review of information of all catering events and functions
  • Implement and evaluate office plans, procedures, and processes to improve catering services
  • Participate in coordinating group activities and special requests
  • Create, distribute and update BEOs in a timely fashion
  • Conduct site tours as needed
  • Ensure proper communication to operational departments in regards to event details including but not limited to: arrival time, event location, guests information, needs of the staff to service the event.
  • Responsible for all other assignments as defined by the GM, Director of Catering & Events, Director of Food & Beverage, and the Area Director of Sales.
