Located in Little Egg Harbor Township, our resort is just minutes from the beaches, shops, and restaurants of LBI. LBI National Golf & Resort is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Part-Time Banquet & Catering Servers to join our team of hospitality professionals. As a Catering Server, you will play a critical role in representing the resort by embodying the positive, professional, and outgoing personality LBI guests expect. While a background in the hospitality industry is preferred, we will provide training for candidates who reflect the values of our organization and have genuine desire to grow within the VIVAMEE family. Requirements

At least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
ServSafe certification preferred (or ability to obtain upon hire)
At least one year of experience in the food & beverage/catering industry is preferred
At least one year working within the hospitality industry is preferred
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
Ability to lift and carry forty pounds
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights & weekends
Exceptional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team

Nice To Haves

TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) certification is a plus (not required)

Responsibilities

Provide courteous, welcoming, and efficient food and beverage service during catered events
Set up banquet rooms including tables, linens, glassware, and condiments
Take and deliver food and beverage orders, including alcoholic beverages
Serve food courses and clear tables according to VIVAMEE etiquette and protocol
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned stations and service areas
Interact professionally with guests, supervisors, and co-workers
Help complete opening and closing duties such as stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and storing reusable goods
Assist with event room turnovers between events
Follow all standard operating VIVAMEE procedures (SOPs)
Perform other duties as assigned by Banquet Captain and other management
