About The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Catering Assistant to work at the Burnside Retirement Village. You’ll work as part of our supportive catering team to ensure meal service of the hospital runs smoothly. At the same time, you'll be providing genuine care to the patients and visitors within the hospital. Permanent Part-Time Wednesday shifts & Thursday shifts Melbourne's western suburbs

Requirements

• Previous catering assistant experience
• Good communication skills and ability to work unsupervised
• Am outgoing personality with great communication skills
• A strong work ethic - willing to learn and be part of a fast-paced dynamic team
• NPC: holder of a National Police Check (or be willing to obtain one)

Responsibilities

• Food preparation with knowledge of food allergens
• Ensuring to follow all health and safety procedures
• Assist with general kitchen duties under the direction of the Site Manager
• Maintain cleanliness and provide a warm, friendly, and welcoming style of service to customer
