Their web portal and mobile app allow customers to purchase supplies from various brands, track ordering trends, finance equipment, and access insurance. The company is dedicated to developing technology to support neighborhood cafes, coffee shops, and independent F&B establishments, believing these small businesses are vital to communities. Odeko has a diverse, passionate, and innovative team of over 400 employees, all focused on supporting their customers' needs. Odeko is seeking a Category Sales Rep to join their Chico team.

  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Responsibilities

  • Manage business within the North State/Sacramento area, supporting existing accounts in the coffee/cold beverage space and developing new business within this sector
  • Spearhead cold beverage sales and account manage existing and new non-delivery business, directly responsible for growing this segment
  • Manage customer relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Conduct independently pre-scheduled account visits, product trainings, and tastings within the cold beverage and coffee segments
  • Promote seasonal items and introduce new products via marketing initiatives to drive incremental revenue
  • Provide pricing guidance, product education, and sampling to customers
  • Manage and execute the Peet’s promotional calendar within assigned accounts
  • Work cross functionally to introduce and sell in new products/coffees and maintain relationships with grocery accounts
  • Support broader sales initiatives in the market, partnering with leadership as needed
  • Execute all assigned tasks with a high level of ownership and accountability, including maintaining an up to date account time report
  • Maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams
  • Maintain an up to date calendar with all field activities
  • Account management alongside market sales support
  • Ownership of cold sale, grocery and Peet’s promo account and ongoing account maintenance
  • Independent scheduling and execution of account visits, trainings, and tastings
  • Weekly inventory management and ordering for grocery accounts
  • Execution and oversight of Peet’s promotional calendar
