About The Position

Cintas is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Category Manager to develop sourcing strategies that meet the needs of internal customers and stakeholders. The role uses negotiation and competitive bidding to control and reduce costs with current and prospective suppliers, manages supplier contracts and evaluates supplier performance against business needs and market conditions, analyzes category spending to restructure the vendor base and achieve savings goals, and pursues continuous improvement and innovation for products in assigned categories.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and intranet/internet.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of supply chain experience preferred.
• At least 5 years of sourcing/purchasing experience preferred.
