About The Position

The Category Manager leads a specialized category in Strategic Sourcing and develops and executes procurement strategies designed to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize costs for assigned complex categories. The role develops and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, manages the procurement division or category and vendor performance, and may manage multiple categories. The position directs subordinate supervisors and staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university and seven years of professional job experience in inventory, purchasing, or supply chain management, including four years in a managerial role; or two years of experience at the lower-level Manager, Purchasing (FEM050) position or an equivalent position.

Responsibilities
