About The Position

As a Category Manager, you will oversee a category of products, driving product performance and profitability. This involves leading go-to-market strategies and supporting sales development through effective product portfolio life cycle management. You will conduct market research to understand trends, competition, technologies, and customer needs, suggesting portfolio value creation for sustainable and profitable growth. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to optimizing the product value proposition and ensuring the deployment of portfolio positioning. You will develop and implement action plans for product pre- and post-launch phases, track key performance indicators to assess market success, and make recommendations for sales optimization. Additionally, you will support sales teams by maintaining up-to-date marketing materials and toolkits, and develop and execute internal and external marketing training plans for sales teams and customers, ensuring all aspects of the marketing mix are addressed.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration and/or technical engineer education in Agriculture sector (or equivalent).
  • At least 10 years of successful experience in product management in Animal nutrition & health industry.
  • Fluent English.
  • Recognized for your interpersonal skills and your ability to communicate and develop in a matrix and multicultural environment.
  • Open minded and a team player.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate product vision and strategy.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools (or equivalent).

Nice To Haves

  • Ideally another language (French will be an advantage).
