About The Position
This role focuses on developing and executing negotiation strategies to achieve material cost efficiencies by understanding cost drivers and levers. The Category Implementation Buyer will support Quality initiatives by ensuring supplier accountability and sourcing to Q1 sites or achieving Q1 sites where targeted/aligned. Additionally, the role involves developing supplier strategies based on business environments to source programs on time while managing cost, quality, and risk. The buyer will also support CST and cross-functional teams in managing critical supplier concerns and is accountable for working collaboratively to meet deadlines with excellence, driving others to deliver required materials on time and with quality.
