About The Position

The Category Development Specialist supports managers with daily activities that support operations related to category development and procurement. Duties include working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, the field, and supplier base to source quotes and issue purchase orders in support of field needs. Responsibilities include managing ongoing field requests and delivering a high level of customer service to the field. Serves as a system and process expert.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Sense of urgency and excellent customer service skills
Ability to manage complex competing priorities with strict deadlines and attention to detail
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong analytical skills to interpret and present data effectively

Responsibilities

Own and manage system-based workflows across internal platforms, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Support required internal processes including procurement, compliance, pricing, etc.
Liaison with cross-functional groups to ensure timely management of order placement, quotes, and other system related needs.
Ensure excellent execution of programs and team’s required processes.
