About The Position

Owens Corning, a global company with a local presence in North Platte, is seeking dynamic individuals to join their team. This role involves catching doors coming off a trim saw, ensuring proper pallet selection for stacking, identifying and segregating reject doors, maintaining a clean work area using LOTO procedures, assisting with downstacking during downtime, and performing other assigned tasks by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Familiarity with machinery.
• Good math and measurement skills.
• Knowledge of proper door sizes.
• Knowledge of what a reject door looks like.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Good attendance and safety records.
• Solid teamwork abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Catch doors coming out of trim saw, along with a co-worker.
• Grab the proper pallet for doors to be stacked on.
• Check for reject doors and place them to one side.
• Clean up work area when shift ends using LOTO procedures.
• Assist with downstacking during downtime.
• Perform any other task assigned by the Supervisor.
