About The Position

The role of the Catalyst Technician 3 is to execute tasks under supervision at catalyst projects. This is an entry-level position for CHR field operations with little to no experience required. The technician will learn the key aspects of catalyst change-out processes for fixed bed reactors, tubular reactors, or reformers. Under supervision, the technician will assist the catalyst handling project team with manning dump nozzles, screening activities, rolling drums, labeling bags and bins, and housekeeping. Under strict supervision, the technician will safely and correctly remove catalyst from single bed reactors in normal atmosphere and can remove catalyst from tubular reactors or reformers in normal atmosphere. The role requires attending and passing required training and certification programs.

Requirements

  • Pass drug testing
  • TWIC card
  • Good background score to be able to enter all client facilities
  • Confined space entry certification
  • Plant required course and certifications
  • Respirator fittest
  • Fit for work / physically able to fit through 20' manways and work inside confined space for sustainable period of time in protective clothing and helmet
  • No Experience required

  • Current valid driver license
  • Forklift certificate
  • Bolt-up/Torqueing basic (HSCA)
