About The Position

The Catalog Analyst will provide expertise and support for initiatives related to product development, competitive research, operational and process improvements, vendor management, inventory fulfillment, and pricing. This position represents an opportunity to contribute to providing our customers and stakeholders with the best and most competitive product content.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years as a Data, Business, or Category Analyst, or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Finance, or Category Management with an organization of equivalent or larger size
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a passion for data accuracy and quality
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other data analysis software
  • Can prioritize and manage many ongoing projects
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, through task completion
  • Remains positive when faced with challenging situations, significant obstacles, or time pressures
  • Willingness to learn new software, systems, and processes
  • Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely with project leadership, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive industry experience, especially the aftermarket
  • Familiarity with ACES and PIES data standards
  • Experience creating or enforcing data governance in business
  • Driven to learn, interested in professional development

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain competitive interchanges
  • Extensive audits of product data in the field
  • Maintain and improve OE, pricing, and competitive interchange data
  • Create and update new product data
  • Preparation, processing, distribution, and retention of reporting
  • Assist with product and market analysis
  • Coordinate and create materials to support periodic business and executive reviews
  • Technical and process documentation
  • Vendor data audits and integration
  • Develop and maintain data governance policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures
  • Audit, monitor, and enforce data governance
