Cat Sitter
About The Position
The Comforted Kitty is hiring independent cat sitters (1099 independent contractor) for in-home visits in the Charlotte, NC Metro Area. This role offers complete job flexibility, allowing sitters to set their own availability and service area, and be matched with clients. Sitters will provide in-home cat care, including drop-ins, overnights, or live-in services, following detailed care instructions for feeding, litter cleaning, socialization, and medication administration if applicable. They will also be responsible for sending updates with notes and photos after each visit, and maintaining cleanliness and respect in client homes.
Requirements
- 18+ with hands-on cat care experience
- Smartphone with reliable internet & camera
- Strong communication and professionalism
- Experienced with cat care, especially in a pet sitting capacity
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Strong written communication
- Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes
- Availability (especially holidays/travel periods)
Nice To Haves
- Medication experience (oral, injections, fluids)
- Holiday & weekend availability
Responsibilities
