About The Position
The Comforted Kitty is hiring independent cat sitters (1099 independent contractor) for in-home visits. Enjoy complete job flexibility: You set your availability and service area—we match you with clients. This role involves providing in-home cat care, following detailed instructions, sending updates, and maintaining cleanliness in client homes.
Requirements
- 18+ with hands-on cat care experience
- Smartphone with reliable internet & camera
- Strong communication and professionalism
- Experienced with cat care, especially in a pet sitting capacity
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Strong written communication
- Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes
- Availability (especially holidays/travel periods)
Nice To Haves
- Medication experience (oral, injections, fluids)
- Holiday & weekend availability
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home cat care (drop-ins, overnights, or live-in — based on your availability)
- Follow detailed care instructions (feeding, litter cleaning, socialization, meds if applicable)
- Send updates with notes & photos after each visit
- Maintain cleanliness and respect client homes
