About The Position
Performs at least two or more imaging technologies to assist with the diagnosis of medical conditions, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Requirements
- Performs work under direct supervision.
- Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
- Typically requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 0 to 2 years of experience.
- May require an Associate's degree and/or ARRT Certification.
Responsibilities
- Operates a variety of imaging machines, such as X-ray, Ultrasound, CT or MRI, according to established safety protocols.
- Ensures proper patient positioning and imaging techniques.
- Maintains accurate patient records and imaging data.
- Monitors imaging equipment for proper functioning.
- Provides patient education and address any concerns.
