About The Position

Rayus Radiology is one of the largest imaging service providers in the country, and with 9 locations in the Southeast Florida area, we are challenging the status quo by providing patients with flexible scheduling, and excellent service, come join us as a CT Technologist! This is a full time, 40 hour per week schedule, working Monday through Friday 12pm-9pm, this includes a generous shift differential and no on-call requirement! Taking a patient centered approach, you will provide scanning services within professional standards and with excellent customer service.

Requirements

• High School diploma, or equivalent
• Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
• ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform CT procedures independently
• Certification in imaging specialty

Responsibilities

• Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination
• Explains and prepares patients for scanning imaging procedures that will be performed
• Performs routine and advanced scanning imaging procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians
• Providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure
• Adjusts scanning scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate
• Accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
