About The Position

Canyon Vista Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Cat Scan Technologist (CT) for a PRN position. This role is vital in providing diagnostic imaging services to the community of Sierra Vista, Arizona, and surrounding areas. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a JC/CAHEA approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
• BLS
• One (1) year recent experience in general radiography.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) or more years CT experienced preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate an understanding of radiographic positioning, radiographic technique, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control and quality control techniques.
• Perform routine diagnostic imaging studies, as needed.
• Ensures that the patient examinations are performed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Provides accurate patient positioning, computer entries, and filming.
• Performs nuclear medicine scans according to protocols.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to the radiologist prescribed protocols.
• Complies with hospital and imaging policy/procedures 100% of the time.
• Provide services to all patients, families, and physicians serving the population.
