About The Position
The Cat Scan Technologist operates a CAT (Computerized Axial Tomography) scanner to obtain information used by physicians to diagnose patients’ illnesses. The technologist coordinates patient scheduling with departmental staff and participates in all activities related to performing the procedure. This is a per diem position with shifts based on departmental needs, including weekend and holiday requirements, at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiology program.
- Registered by ARRT.
- CT certification, or obtain it within 180 days of hire.
- BLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Operate a CAT scanner to obtain information used by physicians in diagnosing patients’ illnesses.
