The CT Technologist performs CT imaging according to established protocol to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by the physician. This role requires an understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. The technologist must maintain knowledge in radiation protection and safety, prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with hospital policy, and use critical thinking, professional, and ethical judgment in the quality of care delivered. Two full-time positions are available: one with a Sunday-Thursday, 11 PM-7 AM schedule, including every 3rd weekend, holiday, and call rotation; the other with a Monday-Friday, 3 PM-11:30 PM schedule, also including every 3rd weekend, holiday, and call rotation.
