About The Position

St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS) is seeking a compassionate and experienced Master’s Level Therapist to join our Community Assessment & Treatment (CAT) team. This is an opportunity to provide meaningful, trauma-informed clinical services to children and adolescents with behavioral health needs while working closely with families, case managers, peer supports, and other professionals. The ideal candidate is a strong clinician who can build therapeutic relationships with youth and families, respond effectively to crisis situations, and work collaboratively within a Wraparound Model.

Requirements

Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
At least two years of clinical experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral health needs.
Ability to effectively assess and respond to crisis situations.
Demonstrated ability to develop and write treatment plans.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to clearly present cases and communicate effectively regarding clinical issues with treatment team members and community professionals.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
Ability to successfully complete required Level 2 background screening and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Provide individual, group, and family therapy consistent with each child's treatment plan and program requirements.
Serve as the primary therapist for an assigned caseload of up to 18 youth.
Utilize the Wraparound Model in collaboration with Case Managers, Peer Specialists/Mentors, families, and identified natural supports.
Develop and maintain treatment plans and complete required updates, progress notes, session documentation, and reports.
Attend and actively participate in Treatment Team Meetings.
Review treatment plans and clinical progress with families during Wraparound meetings.
Collaborate with treatment team members and community professionals regarding clinical needs and services.
Follow clinical direction provided by the Clinical Supervisor, consulting psychiatrist, psychologist, and Clinical Director.
Respond appropriately to crisis situations and provide crisis intervention by phone or in person when needed.
Participate in scheduled on-call responsibilities.
Maintain compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and applicable requirements.
Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
