About The Position

Managing a more complex caseload of automobile liability claims and general liability claims. Mentoring more junior members of the Casualty Team. Analyzing insurance policies and contracts to ensure accurate coverage determinations. Utilizing internal and external resources to investigate facts of loss with the purpose of accurately documenting liability and to rule out fraud. Creating appropriate reserves and expense recommendations for management when appropriate. Monitoring vendor usage and controlling expense costs.

Requirements

• Over 5+ years of experience handling bodily injury claims
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience
• Demonstrates a strong learning mindset, quickly adapting to new systems, processes, and claim practices.
• Multi-State licensed
• Solid interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage a diverse caseload, and collaborate in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with multi-state claims regulations a plus
