Casual, Opt-In Warehouse Worker
About The Position
Looking for flexible gig work with guaranteed hourly pay and zero wear-and-tear on your car (minus commuting to the warehouse)? Join our team as a Casual Warehouse Packer! You will play a crucial role in helping us fulfill orders during peak periods, earning an income while working shifts that fit your busy life. Casual Employees do not have a set schedule. Instead, this is an opt-in position designed for ultimate flexibility without a hard commitment. Most available shifts fall within our regular business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (and many shifts are less than 8 hours, minimum of 4 hours).
Requirements
- Entry level
- Ability to follow directions and safety procedures
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Requires bending, stretching, twisting, stooping, carrying, lifting, and reaching above the shoulder with up to 25 lbs
- Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels
- Ability to work with fragrant products (including coffee, soap, tea and eco-friendly cleaning supplies)
- Attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Pack and label orders following appropriate company procedures
- Prepare products for shipment, including mug rolling and box building
- Ensure packing stations are kept neat, orderly and trash emptied daily
- Adhere to inventory control procedures to prevent the loss of product through damage, aging, or theft
- Perform work activities in accordance with our Safety Policy and Procedures
- Other duties as assigned
