About The Position

Coordinates and provides family-centered nursing care to infants, children and adolescents, utilizing the nursing process. Accountable for professional practice including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other health team members. THIS IS AN MNA CONTRACT POSITION. Department Overview The Surgery department provides surgical services to treat multiple issues from dental/oral to urologic conditions on an inpatient and outpatient basis. They assist in providing a pre-surgery program for patients, their siblings, and their parents which includes a tour of the hospital and a discussion on how the family can prepare for the upcoming hospital visit.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Minnesota RN licensure.
Current BLS certification.
Department specific required qualifications need to be obtained within 6 months of employment.
