About The Position
As a Casual Pool Specialist, you will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our residential and/or day programs. This part-time, flexible, as-needed role allows you to make a difference while choosing a schedule that fits your needs. We are a community-based health and human services organization providing person-centered care to vulnerable populations. We partner with families in safe, familiar settings to plan and monitor care. Our mission is to be a compassionate, transforming presence in our communities. We offer help and hope to people experiencing mental illness and substance use, physical health needs, intellectual disabilities, and trauma, including homelessness and abuse.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Local travel and reliable transportation
- Act 33/34/73 Clearances
- Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and TB test
- Complete Medication Training within 90 days of hire
Responsibilities
- Support individuals with daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene, etc.)
- Promote independence through person-centered plans
- Foster a positive, supportive environment
- Accurately document progress and observations
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors
- Participate in training and development
