About The Position

Friendlier is seeking Casual Operators for their Bedford location. This role involves job rotation across intake, processing, and preparation of new and reused products. The Operator will report to the Shift Lead and will be responsible for scanning, sorting, and labeling incoming products. The hours of work are flexible and can range from 20 to 37.5 hours per week until the end of April, with limited hours during June and July. The position requires availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, which are the busiest days of the week.

Requirements

Secondary school diploma
Perform job rotation to all areas as required.
Able to take initiative and work individually.
Able to work within a team environment.
Able to adapt to varying responsibilities.
Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
CSA approved Safety Shoes are required for the position.
Must be able to lift a 30lbs box.
Must have good hand/eye coordination. Testing will be required.
Must be able to stand throughout an 8 hour shift involving twisting, and lifting.
May be required to use a computer or tablet throughout the shift.
Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Loading and unloading dirty/clean product into and out of an industrial dishwasher
Rotate to various areas; Scan, wash, and dry returned (dirty) products
Sort products based on size, scan into box, and package
Label new inventory and repackage into box
Prepare orders and organize inventory
Clean work area daily including sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces
