About The Position

This role involves safely driving trucks to and from assigned locations on schedule, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations. The driver will be responsible for performing pre and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate records of time, expenses, accidents, and violations, and reporting any truck issues to the Used Truck Manager. Daily completion of driver logbooks and submission of all paperwork at the end of each day are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

• CDL in good standing required.
• Thorough understanding of DOT and other industry rules and regulations.
• General hands-on knowledge of trucks and the trucking industry.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to/from assigned locations on schedule and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Alert the Used Truck Manager should issues arise.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Keep accurate records of time, expenses and any accidents or violations.
• Notify the Used Truck Manager of any issues with trucks driven.
• Complete driver log book on a daily basis and accurately fill out and turn in all paperwork at the end of the day.
