About The Position

Amentum/SNS requires casual CONUS/OCONUS Technical Engineering resources to provide survey, installation, and configuration assistance for a Wireless Intrusion Detection System at various locations both CONUS and OCONUS. Work will be on a casual basis, as the installation schedule is fluid, with 2-4 weeks of work every 2-3 months. Schedules will be arranged prior to actual installations and could vary in length. Requirements

Prior experience with current IT installation procedures/methods
Working knowledge of signal flow and low-voltage power systems
Ability to climb stepladders up to approximately 10 feet or use scissor lifts for higher ceilings
A minimum of ten years’ experience in related field
Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
Great interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
Ability to work in a multilateral environment with diverse stakeholders
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
Security Clearance Required: None Required
Minimum Education: High School/GED
Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year
Compliance with company drug and alcohol policies as a condition of employment
Successful completion of the drug screening process

Antenna/bracket assembly
Installation above drop-ceilings
Pulling and terminating ethernet cables
Potentially transporting equipment between buildings
Fiber optic cable installation and termination (may be required)
Executing tasks in accordance with all applicable Amentum safety standards
Performing work in an environment that has a mix of business hours, and after-business hours, depending on customer building availability
Completing all training requirements and fulfilling all self-aid/buddy aid responsibilities
Participating in emergency response tasks and serving on safety committees and teams
Conforming to the Amentum Quality Policy and carrying out job activities in compliance with applicable Amentum Quality System documents and customer contracts
Reading and understanding Quality Management and Customer Satisfaction responsibilities
Reading, understanding and implementing the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to his/her job
