About The Position
Peterson Trucks has a need for Casual Help at our San Martin, CA location. This job is limited duration lasting six months or less. The role is responsible for general clean-up of the shop and yard and assists parts, service, and sales departments as needed. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, and good previous work record required.
- Experience in the safe operation of heavy and other miscellaneous equipment also required.
- Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating a steam cleaning machine preferred.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical work preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Clean shop and yard as needed.
- Assist with set up and take down with special events.
- Assist in loading and unloading of trucks.
- Operate overhead cranes and other CAT equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Take care of environmental concerns including wash rack and soil remediation.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
