About The Position

The City of Yorkton is seeking a Casual Facility Attendant to perform daily custodial duties in various City-operated facilities. This role involves setting up and tearing down for events, using cleaning machines and chemicals, securing buildings at the end of shifts, and representing the City with service excellence. The position also includes completing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalency.
• 3 months of experience.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Ability to understand and comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Must possess and maintain RCMP security clearance.
• Class 5 Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a current CPR and First Aid certificate is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily custodial duties in various City-operated facilities.
• Set up and tear down for all events held within the Gallagher Centre.
• Use a variety of cleaning machines, cleaning chemicals, and aids.
• Ensure building security at the end of the evening shift.
• Represent and deliver service excellence in keeping with the brand of the City of Yorkton.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
