About The Position
The Casual Direct Support Professional provides critical services to the people supported by Karis Disability Services, ensuring they belong to communities where their God-given gifts are valued and respected. This role promotes Karis Disability Services' Service Principles by enhancing relationships, promoting citizenship, valuing people’s gifts, recognizing self-determination, encouraging growth and development, and recognizing the need for holistic supports, all while considering each person’s intrinsic value. They assist with activities of daily living and promote life development as outlined in person-centered plans, collaborating with their team, families, advocates, friends, and community partners. The position also involves completing administrative duties as required. The Casual Direct Support Professional helps build communities of belonging in accordance with Karis Disability Services' core Values: Valuing People, Fostering Belonging, Serving Others, and Respecting Gifts. Responsibilities
- Provide critical services to the people supported by Karis Disability Services

- Complete administrative duties and responsibilities as required or assigned
- Help build communities of belonging in accordance to the core Values of Karis Disability Services; Valuing People, Fostering Belonging, Serving Others and Respecting Gifts
- Respect and uphold the Values, Vision and Mission of Karis Disability Services
- Demonstrate the highest standards of courtesy, respect and integrity in their dealings with persons supported, other employees and both internal and external stakeholders
