About The Position

North Ridge Country Club is a private club with multiple food and beverage outlets, all providing members with platinum dining experiences. Food servers in our casual dining outlet provide exceptional dining services for our members and guests in an upbeat and welcoming environment. The primary responsibilities include taking orders, delivering food and beverages accurately, offering personalized service, and ensuring that all guests receive the highest level of hospitality.

Requirements

• Have a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and specials to provide informed recommendations and answer questions.
• Work collaboratively with fellow servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and seamless service.
• Assist colleagues as needed to maintain a positive team environment and efficient service.
• Efficient use of the POS systems.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking around the Club campus.
• In addition to afore mentioned details, a server must act in a professional, respectful and fair manner at all times. This should be directed towards members, guests and all club staff. If disciplinary action must be taken, the server must act in the best interest of the club and membership. Judgement should be made in moments of urgency but follow up should occur with direct managers as soon as possible.
• Job Duties are not limited as described above and such duties are required outside of the posted directed by Club management.

Responsibilities

• Promptly greet members and guests, with attention to learning the names of our regular dining members.
• Take and accurate food and beverage orders, offering recommendations and answering questions about the menu.
• Provide personalized service, anticipating guest needs and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff efficiently, ensuring timely preparation and delivery.
• Check orders for accuracy and presentation before serving guests.
• Handle special requests and dietary restrictions with attention to detail.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floor areas.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings to discuss specials, guest feedback, and any operational updates.
• Upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
