About The Position

This off-shift CASTING TECHNICIAN position will be located in our Plant 10, Whitehall Casting Operation. Primary responsibilities will include operating vacuum melting equipment, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, maintaining logs, working to work instructions, executing minor maintenance, repairing and replacing furnace components, checking and maintaining furnace fluid levels, preparing and setting up the furnace for the following shift, performing housekeeping activities, sweeping and mopping the work area, scraping and cleaning mold and melt chambers of furnaces, and complying with all EHS rules. Must be available to work off shift (2nd, 3rd, and weekend crew).

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years of work experience, or six months continuous manufacturing experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous casting experience a plus.

Responsibilities
