About The Position

This off-shift CASTING TECHNICIAN position will be located in our plant 1, Whitehall Casting Operation. Primary responsibilities will include operating vacuum melting equipment, troubleshooting and repairing equipment as necessary, maintaining accurate and detailed logs, and working to detailed and controlled work instructions. The role also involves executing minor maintenance, repairing and replacing furnace components, checking and maintaining furnace fluid levels, and preparing and setting up the furnace for the following shift. Additionally, the technician will perform housekeeping activities to keep machines and the work area clean, including sweeping, mopping, scraping, and cleaning mold and melt chambers of furnaces. Compliance with all EHS rules required for the work environment is mandatory. The position requires availability to work off shift, including 2nd, 3rd, and weekend crews.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years of work experience, or six months continuous manufacturing experience.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

• Previous casting experience a plus.
