Caster Shift Electrician
About The Position
The role of the Shift Electrician includes, but is not limited to, safely maintaining electrical components throughout the plant. This includes troubleshooting and repairs, cooperating with and supporting operations, aggressively pursuing process improvement, assisting with documentation and training for all equipment, and other duties as assigned. The position requires the ability to work rotating shifts and scheduled/unscheduled overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Safety is paramount, and candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Requirements
- One year of experience in electrical maintenance
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Ability to work scheduled/unscheduled overtime including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards
Nice To Haves
- Two year degree in electrical maintenance
- Two years of experience in electrical maintenance
- Electrical safety/NFPA 70E knowledge
- Motors, PLC, Drives experience
- Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge
