About The Position
Shriners Children’s is seeking a Full-Time Cast Technician to provide assistance to medical staff in the application, maintenance, and removal of casts, traction, and other splint or motion devices as ordered. This role involves educating patients and families, staff, and students about the use and care of casts and traction devices. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, between 8 am and 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities
- Maintains cast room and supplies.
- Applies holding casts or splints per physician protocol.
- Assists the physician with cast application.
- Ability to interrelate with children and families.
- May be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
