About The Position
A Technician I is an entry level position, that is responsible for assisting in the development and manufacturing of products tailored to a customer’s specific requirements. They are responsible for performing the foundational tasks of preparing, formulating/packaging orders, performing routine maintenance, basic troubleshooting, operating laboratory equipment, and following procedures and regulations. This position reports to the Supervisor and is part of the Formulated Research Products: TNFRP-Custom and Stock Products (CaSPr) located in Coralville, Iowa and will be an on-site role.
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Some lab experience.
- Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree
- 12 months of lab experience
- Life Science work experience.
- Extensive computer skills which include knowledge of the Internet, SAP, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Responsibilities
- Perform the manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products including decontamination process, product transfer, and maintenance connection software.
- Operate instruments in the lab that are needed to complete the tasks by following all work instructions and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Strictly adhere to customer specific as well as general work instructions and SOPs.
- Support daily management: assessment to drive problem solving with data and suggest countermeasures.
