About The Position

Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino only 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD! Requirements

One (1) to Three (3) years in Marketing and / or Public Relations preferred.
Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming establishment employees.
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
Must be able to sit, walk or stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
Reviews and evaluates patron profiles to determine appropriate customer needs on a daily basis.
Assists with promotional and event activities, both on and off premises.
Corresponding with patrons both verbally and electronically.
Responsible for maintaining the ongoing customer loyalty marketing on a daily basis.
Responsible for generating a positive and friendly atmosphere with all guests by assisting patrons when called upon and generally creating an ongoing host and player relationship.
Handles patron issues, complaints and reports all incidents Marketing Manager or Director of Marketing.
Promotes outstanding customer relations.
Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
