About The Position

Attract, retain, and grow valuable players to ensure maximum guest engagement and Resort experience. Develop relationships with other departments and engage them in all efforts to develop players and to improve the gaming experience at Little River Casino Resort. Assist and do what you and your department can to create a fun, exciting entertainment experience for our guests and engaging, inclusive, supportive work environment for our team members.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 4 years’ experience in a casino marketing role or related sales experience
  • 1 year experience in a supervisory or lead role
  • Working knowledge of the Gaming Industry and the laws and regulations governing gaming operations
  • Valid driver’s license and be insurable on company’s policy
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Strong computer skills with experience in word processing, databases, and spreadsheets
  • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong professional telephone etiquette
  • Guest service, interpersonal and teamwork skills necessary to maintain quality service delivery
  • Accurate and detail-oriented
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability demonstrated basic math calculations

Responsibilities

  • Acquires and identifies high value players or potential high value players, recruit players on casino floor.
  • Maintains and builds strong, lasting relationships
  • Builds department relationships Slots and Table Games that ensure guest relation activities.
  • Expedites referrals of new players from appropriate staff
  • Recruit hot action players on the casino floor
  • Grow the revenue contributions of targeted players to the casino
  • Review prior period new player reports and prepare bounce-back offers
  • Attend outside sales events, plan and host marketing trips to outer markets. Extend invitations to VIP events and private parties
  • Set sales goals and targets and analyze player profiles for sales calls and to create VIP invite lists and fill VIP events
  • Organize, categorize, and maintain all players in assigned "book of business"
  • Expedite appropriate quota of sales calls. Fill the assigned block of hotel rooms. Coordinate with VIP Services Reps, PD coordinator and outlets to expedite VIP arrivals and requests to properly retain hosted players across all premium player segments
  • Work assigned "snowbird" lists to ensure seasonal return business
  • Maintain assigned percentage of active players across coded "book of business"
  • Review overdue trip reports from prompt action letters and sales calls for overdue players.
  • Identify and greet in-house hosted players in all areas. Answer calls and handle player correspondence. Call/mail list of inactive premium players
  • Explain the benefits of player's club/Gold club/Elite membership and encourage enrollment. Extend complimentary services to encourage maximum guest engagement and loyalty
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all Little River operations, programs, events, promotions and services
  • Planning, executing and staffing Player Development parties and special events. Host and accompany guests to on-property and off-property events
  • Reviews current programs, promotions, department processes and practices with management. Provide feedback on current and future programs and promotions. Maintain and update department processes and practices.
  • Trains VIP Services Representatives on department processes, practices and duties and responsibilities. Will also oversee the department orientation for new team members.
  • Assist VIP Services Representatives and other marketing department staff in the absence of the Player Development Manager.
  • Provide feedback to management and VIP Services Representatives on guest preferences and expectations. Handles guest complaints and resolves issues using department processes and practices.
  • Must satisfactorily complete all training assigned by the Resort.
  • Must adhere to the policies, safety rules and regulations of Little River Casino Resort and of the Marketing department.
  • Other duties as assigned.
