For more than three decades, the Virginia Lottery has worked to build a strong reputation, one synonymous with providing fun, entertaining experiences and doing so responsibly and with integrity. Proceeds from traditional Lottery games support K-12 public education in Virginia. Taxes generated by sports wagering and casino gaming, which are regulated by the Lottery, benefit other priorities of the Commonwealth. The Virginia Lottery, an independent state agency, is currently seeking a Casino Compliance Representative to join its Gaming Compliance Department in its Bristol. The available shift is: 12:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. This position is responsible for performing casino procedure observations, compliance inspections and investigations to ensure casino operators’ continuous compliance with applicable state laws and regulations and VA Lottery approved casino operators’ policies and procedures. In addition, this position will be performing the following on-site: fingerprinting casino employment applicants, receiving and reporting complaints from the public and assisting individuals who want to voluntarily exclude themselves from gaming. Employees in this classification are essential employees and must be willing to work various shifts as required to ensure adequate coverage at the designated casino.
