About The Position

Provides friendly, efficient, and accurate cashiering services for customers and employees.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions.
• Must be able to communicate well with the public while maintaining self-confident position.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime when the business needs warrants.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid license as required by the State Gaming Agency for the position.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Must be able to stand and remain on feet the entire shift.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, and squat as needed.
• Ability to work in an environment with loud noise levels and visual distractions.

Nice To Haves

• One-year previous United States currency money handling work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute all cage cashier functions to include but not limited to: Ensure cash drawer balances and is impressed.
• Perform check cashing and counter check transactions.
• Assist customers in the completion of check cashing and front money or credit applications.
• Process transactions accurately and maintain accurate reconciliations.
• Exchange of chips for cash and slot tickets for cash.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory controls of the state gaming agency.
• Wire transfer preparations.
• Processing cash advances.
• Issue Total Rewards Cards.
• Complete Currency Transactions Reports, W2G tax forms, and multiple transaction logs.
• Cleaning/washing of chips.
