About The Position

The Casino Cal Floorperson is responsible for promoting and marketing the Casino’s social events, promotions, and other Casino programs to new and existing customers. This role aims to increase gaming revenues through the development of a targeted guest base. The Floorperson will effectively handle guest complaints and discrepancies in an efficient and courteous manner, while maintaining extensive knowledge of casino and gaming commission policies, procedures, guidelines, decision-making concepts, principles, and processes, and the ability to apply them properly and effectively. They will also keep informed of competitive promotions and work cohesively with all departments for the benefit of Casino operations and employee/customer relations. The position requires maintaining the integrity of games in the designated area, understanding and being responsible for department and Company policy and procedure pertaining to all games, and coordinating Casino Chip Attendants and other team members to ensure customer service needs are met. The Floorperson will make decisions in gaming disputes, notify the Manager/Supervisor of any suspicious or unusual activity, and ensure games are adequately supplied with customers. They will open or close games as prescribed by company policy when appropriate and maintain proper communication with the Manager/Supervisor when starting and breaking games. Knowledge of and compliance with BSA/AML policies and procedures is required. The role involves maintaining good public and customer relations, safeguarding the confidential nature of all departmental and general property records, and keeping the assigned section safe and orderly. The Floorperson may be assigned to oversee the Poker section as business needs dictate and will perform all other work-related duties as assigned by the Shift Manager or Senior Shift Supervisor. Requirements

High School Diploma
At least 1 (one) year of work experience in Casino gaming operations.
Required to walk and stand for at least (8) hours per shift.
Must be able to lift ten (10) pounds for various job related duties.
Must possess an ability to work with minimal supervision and make educated ethical decisions as necessary.
Must be able to resolve conflicts and have effective communication skills with all levels of employees and be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
Must have California Games / Casino Table Games Knowledge or Experience.
