About The Position

Ocean Casino is hiring Casino Cage Cashiers for Full Time positions, specifically for the LATE SWING and GRAVE SHIFTS. Interviews will be held on Thursday, August 20th, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. These positions are for immediate hire. The Casino Cage Cashier is responsible for counting, sorting, and organizing all money, chips, vouchers, and paperwork during assigned shifts, while ensuring the highest guest service level is met.

Requirements

One year of cash handling experience is required
Strong math skills required
Bring a copy of your resume
Bring two forms of identification (unexpired State ID and Social Security Card/Birth Certificate)

Nice To Haves

Some banking or accounting experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Check cashing
Sell/redeem chips
Process slot and table game jackpots
Process tournament paperwork
Balance cash drawers and banks on an assigned shift
Receive and account for all funds turned into banks from all areas
Retrieve bill validators from NRT area and appropriately store all cassettes
Insert and remove currency from counting machines; run the machines
Strap, initial, and date all money straps
Enter necessary information into the computer
Load appropriate cassettes and bill validators into carts and push/pull cart to the casino floor
Account for all keys issued
Pull cassettes and bill validators, ensuring each validator is accounted for
Complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
