About The Position

The Casino Cage Cashier is responsible for counting, sorting and organizing all money, chips, vouchers and paperwork during assigned shifts, while ensuring the highest guest service level is being met. This role involves performing various functions such as check cashing, selling/redeeming chips, processing slot and table game jackpots, and handling tournament paperwork. The cashier will also balance cash drawers and banks, receive and account for all funds, and manage bill validators and currency counting machines. Accurate data entry and key management are also crucial aspects of this position.

Requirements

• Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak & Understand).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
• Ability to stand/walk for entire shift.
• One year of cash handling experience required.
• Strong math skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Some banking or accounting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Count, sort, and organize money, chips, vouchers, and paperwork.
• Provide high-quality guest service.

• Account for all keys issued.
• Pull cassettes and bill validators, ensuring each validator is accounted for.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
