Casino Bar Bartender
About The Position
Boyd Gaming Corporation is a leading casino entertainment company in the United States. This role involves receiving and preparing beverage orders, including mixing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes. The bartender will also complete monetary transactions, maintain an accurate bank, and ensure the cleanliness of the bar area and equipment. Serving beverages involves repetitive motions in accordance with established service procedures. The position requires greeting and communicating with guests in a friendly and courteous manner, preparing written requisitions and orders for bar stock, and maintaining and replenishing the ice supply.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Previous experience as a bartender preferred.
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
